losing feathers

We had a major attack on our babies and lost 3 hens by a fox! YIKES! That sneaky little devil found a way into what I thought was Fort Knox! Anyway, we have 2 left and our Black Sexlink is losing her feathers and not laying. I know it's stress, but how do I help her? I'm not sure if she's plucking them out herself, or if they are just coming out. She's also not eating much and getting skinny.

Sorry for the losses, that's never easy to go through.

Your girl could be losing her feathers due to stress or maybe she's molting? A photo of her might help to figure it out.

In the meantime, you could try offering your girls a diet higher in protein.
