Losing feathers?

So as I cleaned my chickens they started losing feathers while I was cleaning them in water especially my silkie. I don't know if this is normal but I need answers. Thank you for your time !

Really? Because my silkies wing feathers look like sticks almost and it was during me bathing them

i have no idea how old they are but now they are completely fine now they look normal and i bathed them with warm water and dish soap just a little

Chickens lose feathers for many reasons. they could be scared of the bath.
