Losing feathers

Wondered if anyone could help me.. one of my girls has started to lose her feathers around her neck and she seems quiet.. she's eating and drinking fine, just unsure what's going on with her

I agree with sourland. Pictures would help immensely

Probably a partial molt.
Chickens molt and grow a new set of feathers 2-3 times before around 6 months of age, those are called the juvenile molts.
Some pullets will have a partial molt their first fall/winter.
Most birds will have their first full adult molt their second fall/winter.

Look for new pin feathers coming in.
