Hi all of you!
My girl losing her feathers more than a week a ago and pooping not much as compare to pooping in summers. She is also folding her paddle and feeling pain in paddles.
I'm giving her zelta feed, tomatoes, wheat, cerelac, lysovit syrup (4 tp + 1 liter water + 10 sp sugar) for vitamins and energy prescribed by her vet and also some egg crushed egg shells.
Is her feed causing of losing feathers?

Hi @Dulzura she could be molting.
What is lysovit syrup?
Are you making sure she is eating her feed mostly? Can you give us an idea of what all is in this feed?
What has the vet said about her folding her feet? and the pain?
This is the syrup which vet told me to give her for her legs deficiency and energy.

Only one time they eat her zelta feed, i don't know what mixture is this because nothing is write on pouch. 🤷
Last time when she was folding her paddle i took her to a vet, said due to deficiency of B complex she is folding and have pain to stand properly.

Is she eating her feed? what do you mean by only one time. If she isn't eating her feed and only the other things you described then she is def lacking in nutrients and I'd make sure that she only gets her feed for a while so she is getting a balance of proper nutrients. This feed is for poultry right?
Lysovit is what your showing the ingredients of? and the vet gave this to you?
How are you giving the lysovit? if you are putting it in water your diluting it and might be why your not seeing any progress. Since she likes tomatoes why not try giving her a small amount of tomatoes with this lysovit over to see if that makes a difference in her feet and legs.

Yes this is a poultry feed but she don't like to eat this whenever i put feed Infront of her she don't eat even don't look at it. she is very stubborn. if you know anyother feed please tell me I'm very worried about this.
and yes her vet told me to give her lysovit.
my other drake is fit and healthy and he also taking same feed.
i will try to give her more feed by mixing in tomatoes or in cerelac hope she will eat like this.
literally I'm always worrying about her feed.

Is there any multivitamins for birds available or you may know anyone that would be good for her 😔 i think lysovit is not working now because I'm giving her this formula from last 1 month.

I am not sure what is available where you are. If you have a feed store, maybe they sell a chick or all flock feed. Maybe you can get it online, but again not sure what you can get. Sometimes mixing their favorite food in with the feed may get them to eat the other food. I have done this with sick ducks and they sometimes start to eat the feed then.

If those are not an option, I would give small dog food a shot. Right now she likely need more protein and dog food will have that. Supplementing with veggies will bring the protein level down to a normal level for ducks. You will want a dog food with small kibble, otherwise you may want to soften it for the duck.
