losing hope

They should externally pip within 24 hours after the first movement (rocking of the egg) or they will suffocate. After piping they need another 24-48 hours to zip and get out of the shell. You may should consider piping them and hope for the best.

Ok... I am getting my 5 y/o ready for the bus but will consider it after she is off to school. Can you tell me step by step how to do that? I don't want to mess anything up

Do everything Katharina suggests, she has always stirred me in the right direction. I would wait a bit longer, seems that once I "Woke" them up Sunday afternoon checking and candling them, thins got rolling with the piping. It's not unheard of, for them to be late, my 2 from last weekend were early, this weekend they were due but weren't born until Monday night through Tuesday night. But each person/duck is different. Follow your heart/gut. Use your motherly instincts, it helped me, but Katharina helped me the most.

Hi! Any more pips yet there (fingers crossed)?
Day 28 here as well. Three of my eight are out and the rest pipped. I'm kind of surprised. I had them in a completely dry incubator the first 26 days, only turned morning and evening (and forgot them a couple of days), and didn't move them to the 'humid' hatcher til Day 27.
Good luck!
