losing tummy feathers?

We have a baby chick who seems to be losing her feathers on her tummy.Is this normal?

Is she losing feathers, or just growing and her feathers haven't caught up yet? Chicks go through some weird and ugly phases as they grow up. Birds (especially roos) look pretty moth-eaten as they become "teens".

i have no clue im new to all this all i know is she is a little bald on her tummy

You can check for bugs if you are worried, but she is probably fine.
