loss of feathers on feet

When i went out to feed this morning one of my silkies were missing feathers on her feet and there was a little blood, what should I do ?

You can put some Blue kote to keep the other chickens picking the bloody spots.

Also, check for scaley mites (do a BYC search, too) and see if that looks like what is going on.

It may be just an accident, and nothing to worry about. My silkies are not the brightest brids on the block, and someone is always losing a toenail or something to silkie stupidity.
