Loss of feathers

My girls are just a year old and are loosing a significant amount of feathers. Most feather loss is in the neck area under the chin. This girl lost her wing feathers months ago. I think she is rubbing against something but can’t figure out what. This am it was larger and it looks like it is starting on the other side. Any thoughts????

Do you have a rooster? It could be from overbreeding. How many hens do you have?
If no rooster, you might check for mites or lice and treat for that.

No rooster. 11 hens in two enclosed bull pens (20x40 altogether) and they have a large outside run. We also let them free range for an hour or two a day. We are out with them during this time. We did check for mites and lice. We didn’t see anything but treated the run and dust bath with diatomaceous earth just to be on the safe side.
