I was wondering if anyone could help. I have successfully hatched a few times with a 90%rate but the last 2 times I've lost all my eggs on day 22. They only grow to about day 18though. I've been doing it the same way temp runs 99 to 100 and humidity runs 30 to 35 the first 18days then around 70 at lock down. I just don't get it. I've tried my own eggs and some off another person. My biggest fear is I have ayam cemani eggs coming Tuesday and DON'T WANT TO LOOSE THEM!!! God knows how expensive they are. And I have 3 temp readers and Hygrometers so I know my readings are right. Any advice would be appreciated thank You.

I disinfect every time I use it. The thing it's spot less to tell the truth. It's one of the knock off brand. The 48 eggs yellow incubator. I'm trying to eliminate anything I'm over looking. I just don't get why the last 2 batches I've put in I've had them all die around the same day. But when I was first using it I had great turn outs.

Other than I don't particularly care for that incubator you are describing it sounds like your doing everything correct. Maybe someone else will have an idea.

I am starting to really hate it lol thanks for your input

What do the eggs look like(candled) on day 18? The only ones I've ever lost on day 18 are because their air sacs have not grown. I can predict now which ones aren't going to make it to lockdown by marking and observing their air sac growth every 24-36hrs. My one that just died on day 18 had waaaaay too much fluid left in the egg. On eggtopsy, there was a fully formed chick ready to hatch, there was just too much fluid. When candled, the chick only took up half the egg and the air sac never grew. All the rest(10) hatched fine.

Only two had too much fluid left in them on day 18. The rest were great. They all moved up till day 22 then died. I'm stumped!

I know this thread is old, but I have got some good feedback recently from the Hatchery I bought my 3rd round of eggs from. Hoping my batch makes it this time. I am going to follow their instruction 100% and hopefully they will make it to their birthday!
