lost 2 ducklings how do I find them

U can listen for peeps in the brush or they must have gotten taken by a predator (cat raccoon bird of prey) things like that I lost 2 ducklings like that outside

Was anyone around who could see what happened? What kind of pen? Please describe a little more about the pen, if the yard is fenced, if there are dogs or cats around, how long they were left alone, that kind of thing.

You may want to contact the neighbors and see if they have seen them.

Are they the only ducklings?

Is there anything in the pen they could be hiding under?

How old are they?

it is inside but the wholes in the chicken wire at the bottom was too big we had lost 5 but found three scattered around the room they are 2 weeks old

Try giving treats to the others and see if their happy voices attract the hiders. Not too many treats!

Duckie escaped her broader when she was a week old, I found her behind a shelf, she had squeezed in the gap and got stuck. So crawl around with a flashlight and check all the gaps.

Are there any other pets inside with them? 2 weeks is pretty big, so they can't get far. Maybe they are under some furniture or in another room. Perhaps they're behind the brooder, behind the refrigerator, or behind the stove. I can't imagine that they haven't been peeping at all.

Try clearing out the room and making it real quiet. Perhaps they will get scared that there is no noise and start peeping. If not, then I'm guessing they're both together somewhere, huddled down.
