I bought 3 call ducks from a top breeder about a month ago. I kept the new one's seperate for about 10 days, then put them in a pen next to my call ducks for another week. I finally put them in with my ducks and as usual, we had the little tug of war conflicts for a couple of days. Everything calmed down after the 3rd day and all was fine. I went out this morning and one of the male's was dead! I don't know what happened.....I won't say what I paid for these ducks but, it wasn't cheap! I hate to lose a bird but, when I am not sure why, then that makes it worse. He was only 2 years old so it was not an age thing and he seemed just fine yesterday evening. I just hate to lose a nice bird!
