This morning I found one of my French Guineas near death.
This bird had been apparently attacked by the others in the nursery and did not show signs of any thing until i found it fairly listless in the corner of the pen.
I held the poor thin in my hands and told him/her to go ahead and pass on. I had tried a few antibiotics, but I knew it was too late.
The poor thing had a fairly easy and comfortable death in my hands and I knew it was the best.
RIP little one. It always make me very sad to lose a bird.
