Ive followed other people’s leads and have shallow pans of water out for them to walk in if they like but can’t say I’ve ever witnessed them using them. Lol.
*dump daily to avoid mosquito larvae.
You can also spray the garden hose on an area to soak the soil. They seem to enjoy digging down and lying in the moist cooler dirt.

I went out there today and they were "mouth breathing" LOL so I refilled their water and even made water holes for them. Only got ONE egg today.

If you have room you can dig a couple of holes, chicken size wide and about 6 inches deep. Leaving it dry. They will probably nestle down in the cooler dirt.
