Lost a Mandarin Duck - help?

So I somehow did not latch my quarantine pen fully and my new male Mandarin got out. I walked back to the area just in time to watch him run away. His wings are clipped but I have been unable to find him in the last hour or so. Any suggestions on how to get him back? We are in quite a rural area with lots of wooded lots, although the closest water source is several acres over. I only got him yesterday so all of our other birds and animals are foreign to him. I feel very terrible that this happened and would love to find him. Thanks for the help!

I would get some friends, open the door to the pen - perhaps even build a corral (wider to narrower, leading to the pen door). Put treats in the corral and pen, and sweep the area, with the aim of getting behind him and moving him back in.
