Lost/Abandoned Wood Duck duckling

I appreciate the thoughts everyone

At this moment, he is doing better than earlier this afternoon. I've been force feeding wax worms and letting him drink the electrolyte/vitamin solution and sugar water frequently. I also happened to find a small stuffed chicken that he seems to have taken a liking to (he's snuggled up quietly next to it). He's been pooping a lot, but it's mostly white and water with little brown. Keep your fingers crossed! I'll post an update tomorrow morning.

I have successfully raised mallards and anconas from incubating the eggs. My ducklings do not eat much at all until the fourth day. I add a poultry vitamin/electrolyte solution to their drinking water for the first seven days.They love rolled oats stirred into water for a meal!

They do hate any type of pushy feeding!

They love to sit on my shoulders and snuggle up to my neck; in fact being allowed to do this will immediately calm an anxious one. They also sleep a great deal like all new borns for the first week or so... Hope this info. Is helpful!
