lost all 12 of my bobwhites lastnight

had a storm last night and a lot of high winds though i had everything fastened down to my surprise i just went and found my 200+lb pen ( takes 4 grown guys to move) laying up side down with one door held open by the water jug and not a quail in site. an on top of it all do to some problems with my incubator ive already lost 25 of 60 bobwhite eggs and have no clue if the rest made it but they did have something in there so ill find out tomorrow if they hatch other wise no quail for me for a month or so.

what really suck is ive only had them for 3 weeks but some good new is their still alive only reason i know this is right at dark i heard them calling at each other but didnt have any luck tracking them down they stoped calling by the time i got to the woods.

If you could come up with a quail recovery pen and a good bob call rooster, it could be possible to catch most of them back up

though about making something like that tonight only problem is i have nothing to lure them in with other then food .

is Oskaloosa near Rantoul, KS? My husband and I have 41 acres there, but thanks to the job market and recession we ended up in Northern Virginia on just 12 acres. it sounds familiar.
