Brenda, you didn't offend me or hurt me in any way.
The first hen we lost WAS that way when she died.
The lap chicken wasn't.
That's why I'm so baffled as to what happened with the lap chicken. She just...went quietly and I still can't stand to see my girls lose thier lives so suddenly.
So much is lost in typing words that I apologise if I came off angry.
I'm still hurting over the loss of my Bessie and I apologise if I was short with you, I'm just very sad and in shock and I'm trying to be clear as to what happened with the 2 that we've lost in the month and a half we've had them and what can be done for the rest other than culling when the rest are very healthy and laying.
I really am going to bed now. It's been a long two days between my health problems and the flock's.
Poor Bessie..
I miss her.
I could use a chicken cuddle right now.
