Lost baby!

I found this little one all alone on a busy city sidewalk. It didn't move or do anything when multiple people approached it. Does anyone know what it is?

Nowhere near water and no other geese/ducks in sight. He is one lost baby.

that is your basic wild goose chick. he/she will grow very fast. I think the right thing to do is bring it to a local park where geese are known to be active and see if you can get a mama with chicks to accept him in the group. Geese like ducks are very social. It will not be happy as a pet all by itself

I agree and if you cannot find other Geese around raise it until it is old enough to fend for itself and in the meantime try to look around while you are driving and if you see geese than you know where to take him/her. Good luck
