Lost bird in Kansas post office

Morning friends!

Is anyone looking for a bird today? No specifics but I just got an email at work that the wichita postal plant got a bird in with no label, nothing to identify it in any way. Probably express mail but now has no label.

If anyone is missing one or shipped one, pm me so we can get this bird home.

If I wasn't 150 miles away I might.

Anyone in the Wichita area? I'm not sure how they would handle that situation (SO many rules!) but I would try to find out if someone would offer.

Oh, dear. At least the post office folks are attempting to care for it. I would assume that the local animal shelter will be involved at some point.

probably not in Wichita - there is an employee at the plant that has volunteered to take it home for now. Hopefully someone will be looking for it soon.

Yes and make sure it is permanent instead of washable marker!

I've clear duct tape the shipping label on another side of the box in case the USPS label came off.​

With that lack of info I'm assuming he was illegally shipped?
