Lost Chick

I picked up 4 5wk old chicks on Wednesday and this morning one went missing while I was out with them picking up the yard.
The about 1 acre of the yard is fenced. I really think she is under the deck but it's impossible to see under there. There is plenty of room and and a lot of hidden areas.
So my question is will she finally find her way back to the other chicks? I moved them closer so she can here them.

Chicks don't usually like to be alone. If she's out there, chances are she'll try to find her way back. I sure hope nothing got her. But if something tried she might be hiding quietly.

Yep she came out. I put the other 3 with in good hearing range.

Help!!! my mom let out the chickens while i was at school, i told her not to let the chicks out because there have been lots of hawks at my house lately and i like to be able to check on them every once in a while. i got home from errands at 6pm, and didn't see my littlest chick. i talked to my dad and he couldn't find her and he did not see her when he was home. its dark now and i have checked everywhere: The barn, pasture, garden, down the road, i even snuck onto my neighbors property! its dark and i have been checking to see if she's by the coop but i can't find her! I'm very sorry, I know this must be very hard but don't give up hope yet. She may still come back tomorrow.

Im just so worried she's very small and never wanders from her friends or the coop, honestly i think a hawk got her
i didn't see any blood, but its not like her to leave her sisters. All of the chickens were upset and running up to me and calling out. I'm going to check again in the morning.

If it was a hawk, do be careful with the other chickens because the hawk will be back for its next meal since it knows where the nearest diner is now.

I will keep an eye on my lost chick. If a hawk did get her i will keep a VERY close eye on the others!
