Lost half our flock

You will be the first person that can answer why it no longer produces apples because I even asked a gardener but I assume that maybe she was right when she said she doesn't really handle trees and I definitely didn't Google anything about it because I just moved there last August and was just told the information and have never in my life owned a fruit tree

do you know when it flowers or what type of apples it produced? When it flowers is the key, when you know this there is a good chance you can find a solution :) Also if you really want apples and lack the space for a second or third tree for it it is quite common to splice a compatible branch (small ones most often) to the main tree so that two or three types of tree are on one :)

Glad i could answer - it's nice to help with something I actually *know* since I rely on this forums chicken knowledge so heavily!

ps. there are as many types of gardeners as there are garden so your gardener probably specializes in some other aspect. Me, I'm driven by my belly..if it makes food I'm interested. If its a pretty plant for show, I would only know the basics.
