lost her mate

Lost my Cayuga mix drake, Donald, to a predator... Now his lady, Daisy, is all alone. She is a year, was hoping to find her maybe another friend her age, whom may need a buddy too. So sad for Donald, they are my duck babies! Any ideas, help?

So sorry you lost Donald. Please post on the duck threads at the "Other Backyard Poultry" forum above. The duck folks could best advise you about Daisy. Which would be better another mature hen /drake or younger duckling(s) to be her companions?
