Lost In Vain

I feel your pain.

To the outside world, we might need to say "it was only a chicken", but here at BYC we are the same in attitude and affection for these lil feathery girls of ours (and roos too!). They are are our joy and we do what we can to keep them safe. But alas a life or two or more is sometimes lost. It breaks our hearts; we grieve; we pain; and we keep on loving and in time we start feeling the joy again of loving them.

Once again, "THANKS TO ALL". In one of the replies a quote was said that is so true I just had to copy it and frame it. I would like to personally thank "CRTRLOVR" (Suzanne) for sending me this quote "THE GREATER THE CAPACITY TO LOVE, THE GREATER THE CAPACITY FOR PAIN AT LOSS". Even though this terrible event happened four days ago, I still feel the pain of loosing a close pet. I can feel fine one minute and depressed the next. They say time heals all wounds, well I wish this wound would heal and I can forget about the hurt I feel. Thanks Adopted Chickenman
