Thanks for all your kind words. This has been a looooong morning -- woke up to the sound of my computer's battery backup alarm telling me there was no power........and the sudden realization that the brooder and space heater were no longer providing warmth for the chicks and the garage was gonna get cold fast. Thankfully, I was able to get them all inside in a plastic storage bin, between some towels, and wrapped in blankets. By the time the power came back on they were quite toasty.
