on the hens hanging out at the door and other stuff. They have been dusting alot, I don't know if it will help or not but i kind of made them a 'bath tub' with dirt and dusting powder? is that silly? I also made them a low roost of 4x4s and they seem to be using it. I noticed one hen doing what was described here as 'squatting' , it was one of the rocks and i was told the NHReds would lay first? but they don't act as mature as the Rocks? anyway, putting a couple of broody fake eggs in one of the nest boxes to see if that gives them and idea? I think they will eventually move to the roost pole, the reds sit on a pole in the play yard. is that enough to let you know i'm a nutty new again to hens person?
