Yeah, I'm lost with this strangeness. Just gonna report what I'm seeing and maybe someone else has seen it as well and can comment.

I bought in 21 black giant chicks in April from a local auction. Price was cheap enough. Didn't lose any chicks, everything going as it should, then a month ago I acquired 11 more black giants from a lady down the road give or take 2 weeks difference in age as my birds. So 32 total at this point. Not long after I got the new birds I lost my first BG for what ever unapparent reason I thought nothing of it. Then a week later I started losing birds at a rate of 1 a day all BG. So then my curiosity started getting the better of me. Not sure what was happening so I started necropsy on birds. Absolutely so signs of anything so not quite sure what's happening. I have a load of different breeds (RIR, amerucauna, leghorns, EE, Marans, bb reds, Dominique, etc) but not one death from any other breeds. Only in my giants. I watched one giant today that was really spaced out. She seemed to have a nervous tick happening with pretty bad coordination. She kept picking up her feet and stomping the ground.

Any ideas? Open to comments, thanks.

My guess is neural Marek's or coccidiosis. Any bright red bloody poops? Could be that the giants came from a place with different strains of Marek's/coccidia than what's on your land. If so, this is one of those wait and see things: the ones that recover will be fine from here on out.
