Here is a video of her I just took now to show how she is breathing..

I will look into gapeworm but I have not seen anything wrong with her mouth or down her throat. I look when I was trying to feed her

Oh and she is laying eggs, but has not laid since Saturday. What could cause all these weird symptoms?

about the egg laying she might just be taking a little break mine do that. but if she has gape worms you'll not necessarily see them you can take a qtip and gently slide it into her throat and swab it out and if she has gape worms they should show up red and look like they have 2 heads they are tiny from all I've read about them. forgot to say she is beautiful.

I just noticed a soft clicking when she breaths like she is having trouble breathing... I will do the q-tip thing asap right now

Not always true. I lost several birds (the last one as recently as 2 days ago) to multiple strains of cocci and only one of them had ANY visible blood in the stool.

Well that is good to know of the cocci. Does cocci affect breathing? I just noticed a recently developed clicking sound when she breathes like she is having trouble..

If she can JUST make it until 3 I am bringing her to the chicken vet in elk grove. I am desperate to find out what the cause is and how I can protect my other girls. Butternut had been quarantined a few days ago, but I think whatever it is, everybody had been exposed to already.

I can't get water into her anymore without her choking. And I can't get he q-tip swab in her mouth enough to get a sample or anything. It's just me here right now and I am trying to hold her, give water and I tried giving her a little warm mashed crumbles but she won't swallow it, just shakes it out of her mouth like the water..

I can't stop crying.. I know this is "just a chicken" my family keeps reminding me.. But regardless this girl is a pet of mine and I adore her, plus having just lost my Brahma last week.. I just feel like.. Ugh..
