Thanks! I mentioned it to hubby and he knew exactly what it was.
If he goes looking, beware of the lightweight ones. There are two kinds, U posts and T posts. Look for the T ones as they are far superior. There are some U ones that would work but they need to be the heavy, heavy steel.

I am so glad I read this thread. I have some of these in the yard. I thought they were from an old fence and was planning to dump them!
 
All I use is the T post no wood that may rot or termites. Years ago I took out the old wood fence posts and replaced them with the T posts. Many of the old wood posts were in terrible shape.
