First trip out to our coop about 10am this morning and found our Blue Laced Wyandotte dead on the run floor. No sign of attack(see pic). When I first got out there I thought maybe she was dug in getting ready to dust up. Then I could tell that wasn't the case. She was only about 9 months old and showed no signs of sickness. Eating and drinking like the rest. My last visit was about 8pm last night. I usually pet all of them each time I go out and did same with her. I'm fairly certain she went in the hen house at dark with the others. She has been laying eggs regular also. I tried to feel around for a possible bound egg or something going on with her crop but got nothing. There have been a couple of small injuries with the others to deal with but we've only had our flock since last September and still learning so any insight would be helpful.
Easily one of the prettiest hens we had(January pic). My wife named her June. All are named after country singers. Thanks in advance.
