LOST PARROT.....YES!.....PARROT

Our small green/gold Senegal parrot escaped today from our porch...We live in the Reese/Richville area of the Thumb, please if anyone sees him, either alive or not, please let us know......his name is Birdell, he is a little nervous but hand tame, about the same size as a cockatiel, and has dark grey head.....e miss him and love him so much, if you see him please let us know, thank you

OHHHHH NOOOO! Can you put his cage outside near where he escaped from and leave the door open and food inside? If he hasn't gone far he might come back to it.
Do you have another bird, one he knows? If so and your weather is warm, you can put that in a cage outside near the lost bird's cage and hope that draws him back.

We have been amazingly lucky!.....after 24 hours we found our bird in a neighboring yard and managed to coax him down from a tree......he was very tired, cold and hungry after spending 24 hours in the open, but we are just delighted that he is back home were he belongs...

Me too!.....both hubby and I didn't sleep last night, too upset....today we are basking in the joy of seeing our little guy resting with his head tucked under his wings, all snug at home in the warm.......
