I lost 2 of my male pigeons in the last couple days. One on a 10 mile toss. The other on a loft fly.

I found the pigeon I lost on the 10 mile toss today.
It some how got trapped between the outside wall of my baby barn and a piece of plywood and could not escape.

Good news 3 days without food or water; Still healthy!

I was fortunate to hear him rustle. Otherwise I would have only found his corpse when I did my spring cleaning.

congrats! i have an opportunity to get the best sprinter racers from someone local's loft that theyre left with, as they got rid of rest, but decided to get totally out of racing, and have all of what im hopefully looking for. prices are great, but deal is i have to take all of what he has left at time, as he now just locks out in morning and lets back in at night and hawks picked one of his birds from the pairs off.
Im curious if i should invest the amount into them and clean some of my loft out to make room temporary or permanantly, as so many locally want decent at least racers, and homers even? i did just invest in cages for my flying flights, other flying roller types, top quality flying and show winning birmingham rollers, and parlor tumblers parlor rollers, and coop tumblers..

Sounds like you are excited. However that is a decision my friend only you can judge and make. I wish you nothing but the best of luck in what ever you decide laughingdog.
