pigeon requirements

I am new to pigeons and was thinking of building a small kitbox (4x2.5x4) and getting a pair or two.(Prefer to keep the total number in the kitbox under 6). After they have gotten settled down, I would let them out once a day to fly around the loft as a kit and trap. I don't intend to breed them unless necessary and keep the count low due to space constraints. Any recommendations for flying breeds that are less demanding and do well in small spaces?

A Kitbox is something you take rollers to the park, and fly, and then they return to your Kitbox.
Loft housing for 6 pigeons should be somewhat larger. Consider something like 4 X 4 X 6 feet wide.
You can Loft fly your pigeons out of your loft, after they are Homeset. Otherwise they may escape, and not return.
