Hi there. So about a month ago I lost a Mille Fleur Roo to some sort of eye infection it looked like. It got swollen, pussy and cloudy until it sealed shut and was gooy. About 3 weeks ago, I had a rooster get the same symptoms until I put it down the other day bc it just wasnt eating.

now I just noticed our Rooster of our main flock, has a swollen eye, an the pussy, thick gooy stuff developng.

I have had and treated for the respiratory diseaases (bubbles in eye, coughing), but there is no sign of bubbles or drainage. It just shows up and within two days..the puss is very thick and gooy.

Any tips or suggestions please.

from the chicken health handbook, diseases that exhibit swollen, sticky eyes in growing/grown chickens, how common it is in brackets:

Chronic or acute cholera (rare)
roup (nutritional, rare)
chronic respiratory disease (eyes described as "frothy", common)
infectious laryngotracheitis (eyes swollen and watery, yours sound more mucosy, common)
exotic newcastle disease ("blackish eye draining straw colored fluid", common)

i would google each disease and see if you can match other symptons. whatever you have sounds infectious and you need to figure out how to treat the flock.
