Hey there everyone! I am in a bit of trouble. I have recently lost two seemingly healthy chickens, and I now think I know why. I don't have time to search the threads for this, so links would be very helpful. As I made my breakfast this morning I found a roundworm in one of the eggs. I am devastated. I try very hard to take care of my chickens, and to have one in an egg must mean they are terribly infested.

I have heard the roundworm that infects chickens is not infectious to humans. PLEASE tell me this is true! I am so totally grossed out, and I am worried some customers of my eggs may have gotten one too. I would be mortified. I have two young children, and I DO NOT want to hear they could be infected.
ALSO, PLEASE tell me the best medication to use for them and I will get it right away!!!
Thank you all so much!
