Lots O' Buckeye babies!

Just nine days later and growing fast!

I've got one Buckeye hen named Ruby that I got from Ideal. She was a little slow to develop but she was a fighter. She now is very calm and even though she's a hatchery bird she is a great friendly bird.

One month old and growing fast! These have got to be the friendliest chicks I have had yet! I have mostly Brahmas and have hatched a few cochins and others, but these guys are amazing. They went outside on their first "field trip" today and didn't leave my side. When I put my hand in their cage, they fight over who's going to jump in it. I just can't get over how sweet and friendly they are!
