I have a year old RIR that has recently (in the past 2 weeks that I've noticed) started doing this thing where she puts her chest and head down and scoots backwards anywhere from 3-10 steps. I checked her crop, it's a little larger than the other birds, but not by much and otherwise feels normal. She seems to do this about every 5 minutes or so, I've especially noticed it when she's eating. Any ideas?

I'm not really sure, but I'm hoping some one will see this and help you out....hang on, some one will come along....

If she was just running backwards and being generally weird, then I wouldn't be concerned, but it's the fact that she's putting her head and chest so close to the ground, like she's trying to swallow, or throw up? Has anyone seen this before?
