Lots of chicks not piping or hatching

Ok you don't want your temp to be at 40 degrees because that is the death temp for them which in my country is 104 so I keep mine below 102 all the time

I bet they cool down at night and it's slowing there growth

Yeah they should I would candle a few and then wait another 2 days if it were me

After they pip the yolk will absorb into there stomach and if you assist hatch it won't and they won't make it
You just gotta let nature take it's coarse
