Lots of cockerels 🐓

I find that the easiest way for me is to tie them upside down from a tree branch by their feet- they will calm down immediately. Tie their wings around their body with twine as well. Then tie a rope around the neck. Quickly hold the rope tight with one hand and cut the neck with one swift stroke. Make sure your knife is super sharp. If the wings are tied there should be very minimal movement after decapitation. Other ways like with a killing cone are good, but I would always tie the wings. This way works with roosters up to about 10 pounds at least.

If you’re not going to eat them I would advertise them as raw dog food. Many people feed their dogs raw food and the guts along with it. You may be able to get someone local to buy them from you if you process them. I know I would buy the entire bird to feed to my dog raw. If it’s not for human consumption then the rules of selling chicken aren’t that serious.

Isn't it strange to put time, effort and your hard earned money in raising a farm animal and then giving it up to fill someone else's dog's tummy? It's such a disrespect to our own dedication that we put in raising our animals. I am sorry but I can't appreciate this "solution".

I agree. I would try to find them homes. I'm sure there is someone who would be willing to take at least one of them. There has to be another option other than just killing them.

Would culling it and burying in the back yard be less disrespectful? Logically thinking

I understand that for some people it is difficult to harvest a livestock. On the other hand we should understand that farming has never been for those who are weak at heart. There's no type of farming in which some type of killing is not involved. You become a florist and you will have to kill.

Lots of weird bad advice here IMO.

Farmers have been slaughtering birds using the fastest and most humane ways they can with minimal equipment for years. Here's 3 solid options for your needs.

Most humane way? I pop them with a pellet gun in the brain. I’m about to do it on mass this evening to a bunch of my cockerels. Mine are little jungle fowl hybrids but they’re surprisingly plump for what they are. I would feed them to my dogs, but I don’t want my dogs to associate the chickens with tasty food. So I will either skin them and cut off the breasts and legs (a small amount of meat) or pluck and gut them and put them whole in the freezer. Will depend on how many I kill in a sitting and how bad the mosquitoes are eating me up.
