there the ones that got out of my pen on friday and i didnt see them until yesterday. what a suprise that was. didnt think i was going to see them again once they flew down in the woods. thought they were gonners. i guess the ones i still got in the pen are keeping them around.
i saw them today again. i think the most i counted was 9 but im not sure.. they were all over the place. couldnt get a forsure number.
do you have your pen covered? How do you keep your others in? Is the bottom section of your run covered w/ the small mesh so they can't walk through? My small bantam chicks are walking right through the chain link. Hopefully they'll soon be too big to squeeze through
since I can't do the mesh around the perimeter right now -- the run is VERY big.

its like A BIG INDUSTRIAL SIZED rabbit hutch.!!!!! theres two doors. i opened one and for some reason left the other one open so when i was at the other side i was giving them fresh water and they got scared and flew out. thankfully i shut the door before the others got out!
Have you tryed catching them?
One of my baby buttons got out of their pen this afternoon when I had the door open - I was about to have a heart-attack!
