My Barred Rocks are at the top of the pecking order, but not at all loud. Not sure why.

Oh, yeah, my Barred Rock usually makes her loud noises in late morning/early noon. And then it's so funny how first she's being loud, and then for a few seconds she's quiet...and I look out the window and see her taking a little drink, as if to keep her voice strong! My barred rock’s favorite activity is to stand at the pen gate and scream...and scream...and scream...and then scream some more...and then scream again.
My Barred Rock is at the top of the pecking order, too! And she can be like a tyrant sometimes! :/My Barred Rocks are at the top of the pecking order, but not at all loud. Not sure why.
OMG mine does the same! I love her to death, but omg she's so annoying. She just walks back and forward complaining. I am looking into making my chicken run more interesting and she if she will get distracted somehowMy barred rock’s favorite activity is to stand at the pen gate and scream...and scream...and scream...and then scream some more...and then scream again.
A few ideas on doing that would be to add several places to perch, a dust bath and some dead leaves or mulch for them to dig around inOMG mine does the same! I wouldn't hold my breath on it making them hush, I have a few loud hens, in particular one of my lakeside eggers Basil and one of my easter eggers Ginger. They will yell at me just because they can. I wonder if it was all the death metal they heard as chicks lol
