In the Brooder

Hey all, hoping for some insight on my little silkie. She's about 1 year old and has been laying eggs fairly consistently over the winter. She has gone broody a handful of times already. A week ago our weather began warming up, and about the same time, she began just HOLLERING in the mornings. We thought initially she just felt cooped up, but even if we open their run before they wake, she has continued to be so loud. Not sure if it's related to the weather warming up and she's feeling feistier? Everything I have read seems to relate it to being broody (which wouldn't surprise me if she was) just seems odd that she has been broody several times already and hasn't made such a fuss about it.

I'm going to try putting golf balls in all of the nesting boxes to see if maybe it's related to all our gals wanting to lay eggs in the same nesting box, but thought I'd see if anyone had any other thoughts. Thanks all!
