I've had my incubator for about 4 years and for most of that time the egg turner motor was very loud. I looked all over this website and the rest of the internet and couldn't find a fix for it. Every thread said to just replace it. So I decided to try to fix it myself. I took off the rotor that connects to the egg turner tray, unscrewed the mount, and used some tools to pull back the flanges that hold the motor together. I took out each of the gears and the base that holds the wires that surround the main Turner. Some of the plastic that holds the wires deteriorated and broke off into the rotor area. I dusted it out and cleaned up the debris. I started putting everything back together and kept applying gear grease. I made sure there was grease on all the gears. I put everything back together and now it's quiet like when I bought it.
