Loud noise and laying?

1 of my chickens has been laying nice wiEd brown eggs for a few weeks now, for the past week I have been getting 2 brown eggs and 1 green every day, so 3 laying. Yesterday morning my neighbors started putting up a garage in their back yard right near the fence where my pen and coop are , only got one green egg yesterday and today... Is the obnoxiously loud noise these builders are making bothering my chickens enough to make them stop laying?!?!?! They keep flapping and jumping all over her place when they hear this noise and it's been all day yesterday and started again around 7 this am:/

Likely the stress is limiting ovulation. Eventually they'll get used to it and settle down. By then the construction will be over anyway. It won't hurt the birds to start up slowly anyway.
