So like when you want parrots and smaller birds to go bed you throw a blanket or towel on top to make them quiet worls the same for quails?I had a bigmouth too. I put a towel over the brooder, and it stopped. I had to do it for a week or so. I can’t figure the logic, but it worked.
Also I have one egg still in the incubator and its day 18 should I do something about itIt has worked for both my chicken and quail chicks. I only do it for big mouths. It could be that the world is too big, or that the outside temp contrasting with the heat lamp is too much for their brains to handle. Either way, I think some chicks are just crazy.
Theres one quail put 13 that constantly chirping so loudly night and day it doesnt seem like thered anyhting wrong with him/her I dont know what to do with it because I cant sleep its heard all around the house pleas help!!!
Oh its eating 100% but it's just liekes to get really loudIs it drinking and eating normally? Sometimes, even with lots of siblings to show them what to do, you get the odd one that can't work it out for itself and needs to be taught by you. In my experience one that is constantly chirping has something wrong with it, or it isn't eating and/or drinking.
