I love odd looking Chickens and animals so I like it lol There's only one chicken that ever freaked me out. I'm trying to find pictures of them. They have really fat legs.

Man, I thought it was great when I purchased Turkens and let them loose in the flock without telling anyone: Priceless reaction when the family found them. However, one of these would be much, much better!

I agree with bayoudragon - glitter and sequins are definitely in order. LOL

So many great posts today.

So glad to get to know everyone!

I probably won't be on much for the next few days. I'm homeschooled but going to Texas A&M with my classmates. (the class my age at the school I went to and will go back to) Not happy about leaving a sick chick but I believe he will die at this point. He ate a nibble of mealworm today but I have to force Sav-A-Chick and water down his throat.

I didn't know there were online trading pages for chickens. The only thing I have regularly check is BYC and craigslist, but after seeing things like "I think they are hens because they lay eggs" and seeing people post things here on BYC about craigslist (Ex. I have hens and roosters. All lay eggs

) I decided to only get my eggs through here.

You are right...they are more the Disco queens of the chicken world! I just love their poofy hair as well.

Everybody has their something that freaks them out...for my family it would be one of these...


Their have literally been threats made against my life by my own son if one of these appears on the property.

BTW...you all know she can see that lovely chicken lady in the recent images pane BEFORE she ever even gets to the post...lol.

I don't know why, but this kinda reminds me of those creatures in Labyrinth.

I was curious so I Googled them. Here's a youtube video of them. It's in Vietnamese but it gives you a sense of the real thing. Their legs are even bigger if you can believe that!

I'm sorry about your chick; but I know, & you know, that you did everything you could; you gave it the best life that you could during the time it was here, and there's nothing anybody else could've done any better, so be at peace in your mind about that.

Okay...I DO remember seeing those things. They look like a troll and sumo wrestler had a baby or the classic Godzilla. You half expect to see it standing in the ruins of a tiny city with itty bitty people running away and occasionally turning to point at it and scream, " Runna for you life it chickzilla!"




**Now, make sure when you imagine this that the words don't match what their mouths are doing like the cheesy old translated kung fu movies from the 70's!**
