Morning La-yers! the sun is out! Life is good! All the new chicks & goslings are so cute!

My feral barn cat that somebody dropped off here had kittens up in the hay loft of our old barn. GREAT timing. The storm that destroyed our greenhouse also took out part of the barn roof and side, so we were planning to tear it down and put up a storage building in it's place, now we have to wait until the kittens are old enough to catch & move. I tried to tame her down enough to trap her & get her spayed but she is as wild as a March hare & I sort of ran out of time. I can almost touch the orange cat (her kitten, now 1/2 grown) but she won't do anything but hiss & spit & run when she sees us. I've never had one so wild.

OK off to do chores - have a good one everybody!

These 4 girls hatched this gosling last night. After I got her from under the stock pile, I brought her in. :/

Ashleigh, those little silkies are cute!! I don't see why Julie doesn't want any. Love the wine recipe. Thanks for posting it. I can't wait to try this out. LaMike, 19/24 eggs hatched! I LOVE those Ameraucanas!! Now, I need to know how to tell them apart. Ashleigh, you may know. The lavendars are obvious -- I've got that! But, how do I know which black ones are solid black versus the black ones that are split-to-lavendar? I also hatched this little mess of sebbie goslings.

Do you have any female ducks old enough to turn loose in a pond for sale? I was looking for 2 Mallard hens but would be interested in anything but white ducks.
