"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

mzstre, I realized that I didn't have your number when I went to Baton Rouge this weekend, so I wasn't able to call you to get the containers. I will be there again on Saturday. I have a certification/training that will last all day long. Not sure if you are available on Saturday or not. But if you are, let me know.

That's an awesome idea. You should look into getting some purslane seed, too. Purslane is reported to be the plant with the highest source of omega3 fatty acids. Would be great for your eggs!

It can be hard to track down as it is mostly considered a weed. I found a packet at Louisiana Nursery off of Perkins (Botanical Interest seed packet). I've been eating mine as sprouts... though I'm working on growing a few to maturity so I don't have to buy seed again.
Thanks so much for the info. I go that way all the time and I will surely go by and buy some. I'm excited to see how it works, buy on the DIY thread, they had a virtue grass pasture with chickens in it.
