"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I hope they catch them and your bank straightens it out quickly. Nice to hear they stopped the transactions, sorry to hear it was a holiday weekend and they left you hanging with your OWN money they saved from crooks!

We are demolishing old buildings and building new ones.  There are a ton of workers in and out of here lately.  My room was locked and only other teachers in my hall, my principal, superintendent, and janitors have keys.  The janitor didn't open my room for anyone but I hear the technology department had keys for the tech/electrical people who were here.  There are also two new janitors in the building behind me who have keys, but they aren't supposed to be in my building.  No cameras here so no obvious answers.

Good morning ya'll.

Here are some feeding pics of my 2 babies.

Beautiful babies! Love them!
Recently the girls have taken to following me around.Even upstairs. The dog lives upstairs...and has been sharing food, Ug! And one has decided to lay IN THE Doghouse lol

Silly chicken! Ha!
Oh my goodness! I am so sorry! What a horrible experience!! That is a very scary situation and unfortunately can happen to any of us. I hope you're able to get things all sorted out ASAP. I'd sure be in a real bind if someone disabled my debit card.

I hate that our classrooms are not more secure. I know that we don't own the building but still you'd think that we could feel safe enough to leave our belongings locked in our classrooms. Earlier this year, I was sitting at my desk during my planning period and had a paraprofessional unlock my door and enter my classroom. I was quite annoyed by this but didn't say anything. What could I say?!!! I agree that administrators and janitors need to have keys for our classrooms but I am very much opposed to other teachers or paraprofessionals having master keys for all classrooms on campus. Ugh, that sure hits a raw nerve with me!!!!!

Looks like you need to take "Monday" out of your week. Besides the terrible inconvenience and frustration...did I understand that now you cannot trust to LOCK up your purse????? Did the school have anything to say about that? I am SO SO sorry about what happened. That's a NIGHTMARE.

Thanks for the encouraging words. My principal is looking into what tech people were in my hallway. There was something about the "BODYBUILDING" charge that made her suspect someone in particular. There are several high school kids who help with tech issues. So, all in all, it will be at least a week before I get any new cards for any account. I am going to the bank this afternoon to draw out what money is in there so I have something to use and apparently, even with locking our rooms, I will have to keep my purse hidden and locked in my vehicle instead of my classroom from now on. Wonderful, isn't it?

And I now have 4 girls at home that have gone broody --the two d'uccles, a lav orp, and a black wyandotte. I'm waiting until today to be sure the orp and wyandotte are serious--then I'm gonna stuff those nests with eggs! Another week and my hatchcraft should be heading my way. So it looks like I'll have a giant incubator and a yard full of brood hens so there won't be any eggs to put in it! LOL

I may have to get more peas from Terri to put in it.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW I wish you were close enough for me to help. :love
And I would surely welcome the help. :) They are so much fun AND spoiled. They have forgotten about their sheep mama and now I am mama. When they hear my voice, they start running around the pen and crying. As soon as I walk in the pen, they start hitting up against me for food. When I leave out of the pen, they start crying and trying to get out of the pen to follow me. I give in to the crying and let them out. They follow me all around the chicken yard and back to the house. Yesterday I left the back door open and turned around and they were both in the kitchen waiting for my next move. :gig I love those little critters. I did rectal temps on yesterday. Can I tell you how much fun that was?

All these cute pics! I wish I had some pics of my cute baby keets to show -- I tried, all I have is about 20 pics of guinea's backsides as they fled from the camera.
