Holy cow kuntrygirl! That's a lot of figs! Every year we search around trying to find someone that doest want theirs so I can make jam. Our favorite has chopped candied ginger bits and orange zest. Yummy, yummy! I make the candied ginger. Btw that sheep cracked me up. Is it just me or is it fat?

Yep, she is definitely fat. You would think with all of the watermelon she eats, she would be thin. I guess that's "FLUID" in her that makes her look so fat.

I the same as you, I always look for people who don't want their fruit and I always try to get whatever I can and make use of it. My family hates when I ask people for stuff. I tell them the only thing the person can tell me is "NO". If you don't ask, you will never know.

I think I have enough figs for this season.

My next mission is Muscadines. I'm on the hunt so that I can make some muscadine wine.

Sorry bout your phone. I have an otterbox hehehe haven't ran it over yet but I've dropped it down 3 flights of stairs

still works! I love it. I laughed so hard when you said the screen would fall out without it. My hubby jokes with me saying when mine comes of it'll be a pile of crumbles

Ya if I took the otter box off the glass would just fall out probably. But its crazy that it still works!

Same here. We get so much free fruit at work. I have co-workers who have fruit trees or they know people who have fruit trees and they don't want to deal with it. I am glad that they don't. That means free stuff for me. I also enjoying feeding myself and my family with good stuff.

So I hear this fight, a chicken fight I think, I hear a chick scream then the hens start yelling! Whaaaa? Not my girls! I check to see and the big girls have a snake that they are beating up! No roosters here, have had an egg shortage the last 3 weeks and think this guy tryin to escape the coop may be the culprit now not the heat?
So ya, they stomped him without so much of a warning for (maybe) trying for a chick... They were having none of that. I didn't even get a chance to save it and relocate if I wanted. I was shocked at my sweethearts protective behavior as a flock, but proud! Lol
