I was explaining to my granddaughter that when i was her age there was no color tv, no computers, no cell phones. And also about telephone party lines. Also no air conditioning. She listened quietly and then asked me"did you have electricity?"

Time to get out the shotgun!Things have been a little nuts around here. So I haven't moved the trap that is for the armadillo, and he/she has stayed away from it. So this morning I go out to take the kids to school, and there it is. BOLD as day, just staring at me. Once it hear the camera it scooted off into the neighbors shrubbery. I am definitely going to rethink placement and bait it this time. The way its placed now is directly in front of the hole, with something on either side to guide it in. Except it must have another hole, or another entrance. Its a pretty big rascal!

The only store I know of now that closes on Sundays is Hobby Lobby.

Not having you vent is like not having coffee in the morning, doesn't work. Besides, venting gets it out of your system so you can focus on more important things.Yes ma'am. I had to remove my thorn in a graceful and nice way. Regardless of how people treat you, you can't treat them the same way. So, I cleansed my mind and heart of that drama. In return, I was blessed with someone contacting me wanting 6 guineas, another person contacting me wanting 10 baby keets and this morning a person contacted me and wants to start getting 5 dozen eggs every 2 weeks from me. So, I can't worry about other's people behavior (however I can vent about it on BYC) I have to carry on and continue to help people when I can.
Yup, and only 3 channels on T.V., cartoons only on Saturday mornings, no remotes or TIVO. Just some of the things my kids use to make me feel old.Does anyone remember when stores were closed on Sundays?
